Janelle Argall (Proulx) was born and raised on Manitoulin Island. After graduating from Nipissing University in 2011 with a degree in Criminology and Sociology, she attended law school at the University of Ottawa.

After graduating from law school and passing the bar exams in 2014, Janelle worked in Sudbury, Ontario as an articling student with a family law firm. She was called to the bar of Ontario in the spring of 2015, and worked as an associate lawyer in family law litigation.

Janelle always planned to return to life on Manitoulin. In January of 2016, she moved home to Mindemoya and opened Proulx Law Office. By the fall of 2016, she moved the business to its permanent location.

Janelle now practices exclusively in real estate transactions. While she has historically ran a full time practice, she is currently working part time only, and balancing her time with her young family.
